At the 2007 Business Excellence Awards; Barry Lapointe, President of Kelowna Flightcraft, was the recipient of the prestigious "Business Leader of the Year" award. Barry was recognized for his leadership and outstanding contribution to the Kelowna business community. Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies Regional Finalist
Kelowna Flightcraft was recently named a BC regional finalist in "Canada's 50 Best Managed Companies" competition. The award symbolizes Canadian success and recognizes excellence in private Canadian-owned companies for their best business practices. Several hundred organizations submit applications to the program nationally and Kelowna Flightcraft was one of only 12 companies from BC to be named a regional finalist. The last phase of the program includes all named finalists to be forwarded into the National completion. The final 50 winners will be announced in February, 2008.
